Although divorce is something that no one should entertain on a whim, there are times where there are no options to fix relationships. In cases like these, divorce is simply the only option. I divorced my abusive ex-spouse after 10 years of marriage. Although I tried to make the marriage work for the sakes of our children, it became painfully obvious that I alone could not fix the marriage. I was very naive when I started the divorce process. I believed that the court system was there to help abused women and that the court would act “in the best interests of the children” which I obviously felt was to be protected from their abusive father. Life rarely turns out like we expect though. I found that the court has a certain obligation to protect the rights of both parents to have access to the children. I also found that your results in court are only as good as the lawyer you can afford. I also learned that divorce is one instance where you don’t want to do your own lawyering. All of the emotions that go along with divorce simply make it unadvisable, if not impossible, to act as your own lawyer.

Although my divorce didn’t turn out like I thought it would, I have no regrets. I am now remarried and I’m living a life I only dreamed I could have prior to my divorce! My children have learned that it is not normal or acceptable for married people to abuse, degrade, or hurt each other. If you are considering a divorce, I’d encourage you to seek out the support of friends and family. I’d also encourage you to get good legal advice! Finally, consider getting some counselling or joining a divorce support group to help you work through the process emotionally. Good luck!

Imasa has noticed that a something is going on with yahoo backlinks — when queering yahoo site explorer for backlink count data over yesterday and today, the 13th of November, imasa have noticed that a large proportion of yahoo backlinks have disappeared, gone, pow, grr, plop, flush gone…

SO this begs the question, has yahoo cleared its cache? Dumped the eternal link bidding war which aggravates position one in another branded search engine… For what reason? Why? Why yahoo, why mess imasa.us’s day up like this…

I hope that its simply something which has gone wrong and data will soon return to site explorer, i mean how the hell else am i meant to make a living… blogging…? Do you really think so?

I do wonder where the backlinks have gone to — and hope vainly things like link diagnostic will retain its rough data… Perhaps they should publish the pre D day backlink final salute as a new attachment in seo quake…. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps….
